AU has had 189 All-Conference members, 77 NCAA All-Region recipients, 16 All-Americans, 13 Freshmen of the Year, 26 Conference Player of the Years, one NAC Women of the Year and one NAC Man of the Year since 2006.

Since 2000, AU teams have won 48 conference championships while participating in 31 NCAA National Tournaments.

The Aurora University athletic program had 137 Northern Athletics Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2010-2011 season.

Since 2006, 600 Spartans have been named Academic All-Conference, 33 Academic All-Region and three have been named Academic All-America

Spartan Football played its first contest in 1900 against East Side High in Mendota, IL.

AU men's lacrosse was the first NCAA men's lacrosse program in the state of Illinois to begin play in the spring of 2011.

AU Women's Soccer has won each of the first five Northern Athletics Conference championships

The AU men's basketball team won four of the first five Northern Athletics Conference Championships

AU's men's athletic programs captured four of the first five Northern Athletics Conference men's All-Sport Championships.

AU has captured 102 conference championships since becoming an NCAA institution in 1982.

Aurora University Spartan sophomore forward Scott Laskowski (Bloomington, Ind./Carmel HS) was named the Northern Athletics Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 15, 2012.

Defense key to Spartans 67-58 win over Dominican

The Aurora University Spartans hosted the Stars of Dominican University Wednesday night in Thornton Gymnasium. The Spartans went on to beat the Stars in this Northern Athletics Conference match-up by a final score of 67-58.

Spartan men defeat Marian to open 2012

The Aurora University Spartan men's basketball team opened up the 2012 portion of their schedule with a Northern Athletics Conference game against the Sabres of Marian University. In the early stages of the game, the two teams went back and forth for the lead. The game continued to play out as a close fight with the Spartans edging off the visiting Sabres by a score of 83-75.

Spartan women open 2012 with loss to Marian

Aurora University's women's basketball team opened up the new year with a Northern Athletics Conference match-up against the Sabres of Marian University. The Spartans started off slow, allowing Marian to open up the game on a 17-0 run. The Spartans battled back for the remainder of the game but to no avail. The Sabres went on to defeat AU by a score of 76-53.
