Welcome to Aurora University Athletic Training:

The mission of the Aurora University Athletic Training Department is to provide the best medical care possible for our Spartan student-athletes. As such, we focus on the prudent care of all athletic injuries, but pay special attention to concussions.  Our staff is comprised of two full-time athletic trainers and five part-time ATI Physical Therapy Outreach Athletic Trainers. We are responsible for providing injury prevention, evaluation and management of injuries and post-injury rehabilitation for our student-athletes.  We are also responsible for the medical coverage of practices and competitions for approximately 700 student-athletes participating in 24 varsity sport programs.

All of the student-athletes who intend to participate in intercollegiate athletics at Aurora University must have completed a physical exam performed by a physician, a thorough medical history, and demonstrate proof of primary insurance that covers athletic injuries.  All of this information must be on file within the athletic training department (see below).
