The Aurora University Spartan women’s soccer team captured the 2009 Northern Athletics Conference women’s soccer championship, the Spartans’ fourth straight NAC title and fifth consecutive conference championship, with the fifth coming in the final season of the Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference.

The Aurora University Spartan women’s soccer team had two players named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine District V Academic All-District teams. To be considered for the honor, the nominated student-athletes are required to maintain a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade point average throughout their academic career at AU.
