Iventosch Named Northern Athletics Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

Aurora University men’s basketball senior guard Ari Iventosch (Weimar, Calif./Colfax HS) was named the

Northern Athletics Conference Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.

Iventosch led Aurora to a 107-95 victory over Elmhurst College in the Spartans only game of the week. Iventosch had a game-high 22 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and also dished out five assists.

Thus far on the season, Iventosch is averaging 14.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He is shooting 50.6 percent from the field (42-of-83) and 50.0 percent (16-of-32) from three-point range.

Iventosch and the Spartan men’s basketball team will travel to Millikin University on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Decatur, Illinois.
