AU Golfer Receives Conference Honors

The Aurora University Spartan men's golf team finished third in the Northern Athletics Conference Golf Championships and in doing so, had one squad member named NAC All-Conference and the NAC Freshman of the Year. AU freshman Brandon Vicory (Aurora, IN/West Aurora H.S.) was named the 2008 Northern Athletics Conference Men's Golf Freshman of the Year and 2008 Northern Athletics Conference Men's Golf All-Conference Team after posting a two-day score of 154, which placed him in a tie for fourth place. Parker shot a 76 on the second day, after posting an opening round 77. The Spartans shot a team score of 642, good for third place in the NAC.
