Spartan Named Northern Athletics Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week

Aurora University women’s track and field thrower, sophomore Stephanie Deluca (Ingleside, IL/Grant H.S.), was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 26, 2009. Deluca finished second on the javelin throw at the North Central College (Ill.) Red-White Invitational. Her throw of 118'-8'' was second best in the meet, behind the top throwing in the javelin in Division III. Next action for the Spartan women's outdoor track and field team comes on Saturday, May 2, 2009, when they travel to the Northern Athletics Conference Championships. Meet time is set for 10:00 a.m. in River Forest, IL at Concordia University Chicago. -END-
