Spartan Track and Field set records at Last Chance Meet

Johnson set her second school record in her freshman season at AU
Members of the Aurora University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Dr. Keeler Last
Chance Meet hosted by North Central College and the Spartans set school records in the event.

Spartan freshman Loretta Johnson and senior Brittany Paller each set a new school record with Johnson's coming in the 200 meter dash and Paller's in the 800 meter run.

Johnson finished 19th in the event but her time of 26.48 puts her atop the Spartan record book, while Paller
finished 45th in the 800 with her record setting time of 2:25.18. Lauren Miller finished ninth in the triple jump with her jump of 10.21

On the men's side, 2012 NAC Field Athlete of the Meet senior Eric Capshaw finished ninth in the shot put with a throw of 14.83 meters and 10th in the hammer throw with a throw of 48.55 meters.
