D3baseball.com announced the 2013 Baseball All-American Teams and Aurora University senior designated
hitter
Cory Walden (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora H.S.) was named Honorable Mention All-American.
Walden was selected to the All-American honors after receiving his second consecutive First-Team All-Region honor. H was named to the same distinction in 2012. Walden also was a 2013 Northern Athletic Conference First-Team All-Conference selection after hitting .347 with nine home runs, nine doubles, one triple, 45 runs batted in and 31 runs scored.
The Spartans finished the 2013 season with a 25-13 overall record and a 17-5 Northern Athletics Conference record.
