Game two of the two game series at Milwaukee School of Engineering saw the Aurora University Spartans jump out to an early lead as they have made habit of in recent games. AU was unable to hold the lead though and fell 5-2.
An early first period goal by senior
Jimmie Perkins at 1:06 gave AU a 1-0 lead.
Justin Gregory assisted on the play.
MSOE evened up the score at 6:54 and the teams went into the first intermission tied at one.
The host Raiders would score two more goals in the second period and two more in the third on AU goalkeeper
Griffin Strain.
AU would finish the nights scoring with a second goal on the night from Perkins at 18:08. Gregory collected his second assist and
Ron Lindgren also assisted.
Strain finished the night with 35 saves in the losing effort. AU is now 0-6 in the NCAA and 5-7 overall on the year. Next action for the Spartan hockey team comes on
Friday, December 5 when they host St. Mary's University (Minnesota). Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Geneva, Illinois at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
