The Aurora Unviersity Baseball team took on the top seed of the Danville Regional in the #14 Washington University, St. Louis Bears in the opening game of the regional. This game would mark AU's sixth regional appearance in the last eight seasons. The Spartans hoped to start out with an upset, and even after four no-hit innings from starter Conner Hogan, AU would fall 7-0.
