The Aurora University Athletic Department today announced that it has entered into a multi-year partnership with NIKE through BSN SPORTS. Today the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced those named to the 2018-2019 NACC Scholar-Athletes. Aurora University led the way with 210 Spartan student-athletes earning recognition. The award requires the student-athlete to maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average for the academic year at AU and compete in a NACC sponsored sport in the 2018-2019 season. The Aurora University Athletic Department finished the 2018-2019 academic year, a year that saw the Spartans finish with the second highest finish ever in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Division III standings. The Spartans finished 61st out of more than 420 Division III athletic programs around the United States. The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup is a comprehensive ranking of intercollegiate athletic departments based on their participation in NCAA Championship events.
