The Aurora University Spartan men's basketball captured the 2009-2010 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball South Division
Championship.
The Spartans went 11-5 in the NAC regular season to capture the South Division title. AU has won three consecutive NAC championships and will enter the 2009-2010 NAC tournament looking to add a fourth championship in as many seasons.
AU will travel to Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday, February 20, 2010, in the NAC North-South Challenge game with the winner gaining the top seed and home court throughout the upcoming NAC tournament. Game time is set for 4:15 p.m. in Mequon, Wis.
The Spartans are currently 15-9 on the season and on an eight-game win streak while having gone 14-3 in their last 17 games after starting the 2009-2010 season 1-6.
