The Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) announced the 2012 Women's Tennis All-Conference awards,
and the Aurora University Spartans were represented by freshman
Chloe Madison.
The awards include 12 selections from singles players, 12 selections (six teams) from doubles and the three major awards of player, freshman and coach of the year.
Madison (Loves Park, Ill./Harlem) was the lone Spartan named All-Conference. Madison played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Spartans. Overall in singles she had a 5-8 record and was 5-8 in doubles. In NAC play she was 4-6 in both singles and doubles.
The Spartans finished the 2012 season with a 7-7 overall record and were 6-5 in NAC play. AU finished sixth in the NAC and will compete in the spring portion of the 2012-2013 schedule for the NAC tournament championship.
