The Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) announced the 2013 men's tennis All-Conference Team and postseason awards.
The Aurora University men's tennis team placed two players on the NAC All-Conference Singles-Team.
Sophomore singles players
Ricky Hernandez (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville H.S.) and
Brian Koski (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville H.S.) were named to the NAC singles All-Conference team after competing as the top two singles players for the Spartans on the season. Both players were NAC All-Conference selections in 2012 as freshman
At No. 1 singles, Hernandez holds a 5-11 overall record and was 4-5 in the NAC, while Koski played No. 2 singles with a 9-7 overall record and 7-2 in the NAC.
The AU men's tennis team is currently 10-8 overall and 7-2 in the Northern Athletics Conference. Next action for the Spartan men's tennis team is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 when they travel to the 2013 NAC Tournament. AU will take on MSOE at 1:30 p.m. at the Kohler Sports Core in Kohler, Wis.
