Aurora University freshman Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. 

Tharpanawongwech earned the award after she captured medalist honors at the Rose-Hulman Heartland Spring Finale by posting an even-par 144. She posted two birdies en route to an opening-round 73, then carded five birdies - including three on a bogey-free back nine - in a final-round 71. The Spartans posted a program-record 36-hole score of 602 (299-303).

Next action for the Spartan women's golf team comes on Tuesday, May 19 through Friday, May 22 when they travel to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship in Palm Desert, California.
