Justin Wyeth

Justin Wyeth took over the reigns of the AU women's golf program in the fall of 2010 and in November of 2014 assumed the duties of the AU men's golf program as well.

Wyeth is no stranger to Aurora University, as he was a member of the AU men’s golf 2006 Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference championship team; he was selected as NIIC All-Conference, AU Team MVP and captain.

Wyeth is a 12-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year, claiming the first honor in 2014-2015 after leading the AU women to the program's fourth NACC Championship and the school 's first NCAA Division III Championships appearance. He has gone on to add six more NACC Women Coach of the Year honors for seven total. was the NACC Coach of the Year on the women's side.

In his fourth year running the AU men's program Wyeth led the Spartans back to the top of the standings and the Spartans have remained at the top of the league since while also climbing the ladder on the national scene. The 2017-2018 AU men's golf team returned the Spartans to NACC leaders as AU won the NACC Championship, made an appearance in the NCAA Championship and Wyeth earned his first Men's Coach of the Year honor. His 2018-2019 team added to the impressive run for Wyeth's teams as they set NACC records on the final day of the championship round with win by 14 strokes and earn a return trip to the NCAA Championship. In receiving Coach of the Year honors, he swept both the men's and women's awards and has now done so three times.

At the national level, Wyeth's teams both have shown well with the top finishes by both the men and women by a NACC program. The 2021-2022 Spartan golf season was historical for both the AU men's and women's programs. The AU men continued to climb the ranks in the Division III spectrum as the Spartans finished the season ranked No. 14 in the Bushnell/GolfWeek Coaches Poll after a NACC and AU best 14th place finish at the NCAA Championships. Wyeth was named the NCAA Division III 2022 Region 6 Coach of the Year presented by Golf Pride Grips, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Additionally, AU had the program's first All-American following the 2021-2022 season when Scott Boyajian earned Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) PING All-American honors after he finished tied for sixth at the 2022 NCAA Division III Championships. The AU women had their best Championship total with a three-round 1004 and finished 25th overall while Spartan Kallie Sakamoto made AU and NACC history in becoming the first women's golfer to make the cut. She finished 25th overall with a four-round NCAA Championship score of 301 (78/77/71/75).
