Aurora University goalkeeper Adam Holka (Howell, Mich./Hartland H.S.) was named Midwest Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending February 17, 2013.
Holka, a junior, led the Spartans in net against Ohio Wesleyan University in the 2013 opener. AU fell to OWU 11-9 as Holka made 17 saves and grabbed two ground balls against a team that was mentioned in the “Also Receiving Votes” category of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association national rankings on February 12.
Next action for the Spartan men's lacrosse team comes on Saturday, March 2, when they travel to Adrian College. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Adrian, Mich.
