Aurora University women's track and field runner Emily Paull (Somonauk, Ill./Somonauk H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
The AU junior helped the Spartans to a second place finish at the College of DuPage outdoor meet last weekend, AU's first outdoor meet of the season. Paull won the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:01.27 and anchored the 4x800 relay team, which set a school record with a time of 10:11.04.
 
Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Saturday, April 5 when they travel to the Thunder Invitational at Wheaton College. Meet time is set for 11:30 a.m. in Wheaton, Ill.
