Aurora University women's cross country runner Alex Duncan has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
The AU senior finished 20th overall (14^th as a scoring runner) with a time of 19:54.6 as the Spartans finished third in the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational. His time set an AU record in the 6k.
 
Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Friday, September 9 when they host the AU Spartan Cross Country Classic. Meet time is set for 5:45 p.m. at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora, Illinois.
