Aurora University freshman defenseman Tim Faulkner is this week's AU Spartan Athlete of the Week.

Faulkner helped AU to a 1-1 weekend against NCHA opponents. He set the pace with an early score in a 3-2 win over Finlandia and had two assists as the Spartans hung tough with No. 1 St. Norbert in a 5-3 defeat. Faulkner was a +4 on the weekend.

On the season, Faulkner leads the Spartans in points (10), goals (four) and assists (6) from his d-man position.
