Aurora University sophomore pitcher Kyle Blunt was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Blunt  made his first start of the year against Spalding College in the Derby Classic and struck out 10 over six innings, allowing three hits and no runs in a no-decision.
 
Next action for the Spartan baseball team, 2-1 overall on the season, comes on Sunday, March 4 when they take on Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on the spring trip in central Florida. Game one of the doubleheader is set for 2:30 p.m. (est) at the Lake Myrtle Complex in Auburndale, Florida.
