Aurora University senior face-off specialist Corey Segall was named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Defensive Player of the Week.

Segall helped the Spartans to a 29-0 victory over Concordia University Chicago and a 15-8 victory at Benedictine University to open to MLC schedule.

Segall dominated the face-off dot this week, winning 23 of the 29 he took and added 15 ground balls and dished out one assist.

Thus far on the season, Segall has tallied one goals, three assists, 39 ground balls and is 74-of-117 (63.2-percent) for face-offs.
