Aurora University men's golfer Craig Schlegel has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week. The second consecutive week a Spartan has won the award.
 
The AU freshman set a new AU and tied a NACC record, as he shot a six-under-par 65 at the Judson University spring invite to win medalist honors. He went on to average a 71 on the week as he fired a 77 at the Augustana Invite which was good for a tie for 30th.
 
Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Thursday, April 19 when they compete in the University St. Francis Invite. Meet time is set for 10:00 a.m. at Inwood Golf Course in Joliet, Illinois.
