Aurora University women's cross country runner Jackie Schane has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week. This is the second week Schane has been honored by the NACC.
 
The AU senior finished 21st out of over 330 runners at the Blugold Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She covered the 6k course which will be home to the 2018 NCAA Division III Midwest Regional in a little over a month in 22:55.6 while leading the Spartans to a 16th-place team finish.
 
Next action for the Spartan women's cross country team comes on Saturday, October 6 when they travel to the Saint Ambrose University Invitational. Meet time is set for 10:30 a.m. in Bettendorf, Iowa at Crow Creek Park.
