The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announce the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III men's soccer teams this morning and Aurora University senior Collin Foreman added to his honors achieved in his final season as a Spartan when he was selected as a First-Team All-America honoree.. 

Foreman can now put the distinction on his resume of earning the Google Cloud Academic All-America® honor which is chosen based off the student-athletes combined prowess on the field and in the classroom. He becomes the eighth CoSIDA Academic All-America First-Team selection for AU and 26th overall. 

A forward on the pitch and finance major in the classroom, Foreman, finished the 2018 season as a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First-Team All-Conference selection. He led AU offensively, picking up eight goals with one of those coming as a game winner and one assist.

The Spartan men's soccer team concluded the 2018 season with a 9-9-1 overall record and were 8-2-1 in the NACC, finishing second in the standings.

The CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America teams are selected by CoSIDA member sports information directors based on the student-athletes' academic prowess while being a steady influence on their respective athletic field. To be considered for the honor, the nominated student-athletes are required to maintain a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade-point average throughout their academic career at their respective institution. For more information regarding the Google Cloud Academic All-America® program, visit https://academicallamerica.com/.
