Aurora University sophomore guard Julie Galauner was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Galauner earned the honor after she averaged 31.5 points during the week for the Spartans highlighted by a career-high 39 points in an 82-71 victory over Benedictine University on January 16. She then added 24 points in a loss to Lakeland University. Galauner shot 62.5 percent from behind the arc, going 5-for-8 in both contests. She also set a new AU and NACC record for free throws made against Benedictine, sinking 20 of 22 attempts.

On the season, Galauner  is averaging a team-leading 19.1 points per game while shooting 37.3-percent from three-point range (47-126) and averaging 4.1 rebounds.
