Senior Ryan Njegovan is making a return trip to the NCAA Indoor Championships after a season away from the throwing arena. Njegovan won the shot put in the 2017 NCAA Indoor Championship to earn National Champion and All-American honors. He will enter the 2019 shot put as the third-ranked competitor with his distance of 57' 3" /17.45m. 

In earning All-Region honors and qualifying for the NCAA Championships, Njegovan has been named AU Athlete of the Week.
