Aurora University senior shortstop Jeff Mayes was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Mayes earned the NACC honor as he helped lead AU to a 4-2 week and 6-2 overall on the spring trip. He posted a slash line of .519/.536/.704 with five doubles, seven RBIs, two stolen bases and six runs scored. He had at least one hit and one RBI in each game and posted three hits on three occasions - in Wednesday's win over Valley City State and in both halves of a doubleheader split with St. Olaf on Friday.
