Aurora University Outdoor Track and Field athlete, senior Jackie Schane has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.
Schane set a new NACC mark in the 10,000-meter run with her ninth-place time of 37:03.62 at the Washington-St. Louis Distance Carnival. Her time, which leads the NACC and ranks eighth in NCAA Division III, broke the previous NACC all-time mark by nearly two seconds (Samantha Gries, CUW, 37:05.71).
Next action for the Spartan men's and women's track and field team comes on Saturday, April 6 when they travel to Wheaton College. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Wheaton, Illinois.
