Aurora University sophomore Jackson Fluck was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week, the third consecutive week AU has earned the honor.

Fluck fired a 1-under-par 71 in round three of the NACC Men's Golf Championship, then followed it up with a record-setting 5-under 67 in the final round. He helped AU post a 4-under 284 as a team in the final round, breaking the previous team 18-hole total by 14 strokes while also setting the record for score relative to par (-4). Fluck's final-round 67 also broke the previous Championship 18-hole individual record of 3-under 69 set by Edgewood's Josh Hentrich in round two last fall.Â
The Aurora University men's golf team won the 2019 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship, the second consecutive year for AU. The 2019 title came in impressive form as the Spartans shattered numerous team and individual records and winning by 20 strokes. As a team, the Spartans shot a four-under 284, breaking the previous NACC Championship round record by 14 strokes and also set the round relative to par with the -4.Â
