Aurora University junior infielder / outfielder AJ Gill was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Gill earned the NACC honor after he hit .643 (9-for-14) in four NACC games over the weekend with three home runs while scoring nine times and driving in eight. He also drew four walks to produce a .722 on-base percentage and a 1.286 slugging percentage. Gill had multiple hits in three of the four games, including three hits each in both halves of a Sunday doubleheader against Rockford. His best game of the week was game two against Rockford, where he went 3-for-4 with two home runs, five RBIs and three runs scored in a 16-5 victory. Gill was also a perfect 16-for-16 in chances defensively.
On the season, Gill is hitting .379 with nine home runs, four triples, seven doubles with 41 runs scored and 47 runs batted in. He is two-for-three in stolen bases while drawing 26 walks to help produce a .472 on-base percentage to go along with a .669 slugging percentage.
