Aurora University men’s track and field thrower senior Adrian Kibiersza (Des Plaines, IL/Maine West H.S.) was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 4, 2010.
Competing in the outdoor portion of the Spartans’ schedule, Kibiersza won the discus with a throw of 50.09 meters at the North Central College First Chance Meet. The throw is currently fourth-best in NCAA Division III this season.
Next action for Kibiersza and the Spartan men's track and field team comes on Saturday, April 17, 2010, when they travel to the Chicagoland Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of Chicago. Meet time is set for noon in Chicago, Ill.
