Aurora University Athletics

The Aurora University Spartan Student-Athlete of the week is Sydnei Avery. Avery is a freshman outside hitter on the women's volleyball team.

Avery helped the Spartans to a 2-2 week with a win over the host of the tournament, University of Texas at Dallas 3-0. UT-Dallas had been receiving votes in the AVCA top 25.

In the four matches in Dallas, Avery averaged 4.69 kills per set while hitting at a .246 clip.
