Aurora University freshman men's golfer Ryan Vanderway has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of September 23-29, 2019, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Vanderway helped AU win both the Benedictine University and Elmhurst College Fall Invitationals. He was a combined 4-under-par between the two tournaments, headlined by a 6-under 65 en route to medalist honors at the Benedictine event at St. Andrews Golf Club. Vanderway finished ninth at the Elmhurst event at Oak Brook Country Club with a 2-over 74.

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Sunday, October 6 when they compete in the first round of the 2019 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship. Tee time is set for 11:00 a.m. at the Irish Course at Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin.
