Aurora University senior tight end Colton Jewell has been selected by D3football.com to the Team of the Week following his performance in AU's 63-27 victory over Concordia University Chicago on Saturday, October 12.

In the win, Jewell had six catches for 109 yards and three touchdowns while he also helped the AU running game accumulate 219 yards on the ground.

On the season, Jewell has 18 catches for 275 yards and seven touchdowns. He is averaging 68.8 yards per game and 15.3 yards per catch. In the Division III statistical rankings, Jewell is 22nd in receiving touchdowns, 26th in scoring and 53rd in total points scored.

Jewell and the Spartans (4-1 overall and 2-0 NACC) are in action next on Saturday, October 19 when they travel to Concordia University Wisconsin. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. in Mequon, Wisconsin.
