Aurora University freshman winger Adam Keyes was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Men's Offensive Players of the week, the league office announced today.

This week's honor is the first player of the week recognition this season and first of his career. Keyes had a six point weekend with three goals and three assists as Aurora swept St. Scholastica, winning 5-1 and 5-3. Keyes had two goals, one being the game-winning goal and an assist in the 5-1 win in the series opener and then added a goal and two assists in the 5-3 come from behind win to sweep the series. The six point weekend pushed him to the most points in a season in the brief history of AU men's hockey.
On the season, Keyes paces the Spartan offense with 26 points, 18 assists and eight goals. Of his eight goals, two are game-winning, three on the power play and one short-handed..
