Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.
Senior Spotlight: Maddison Moore (Women's Soccer)
Major:Â Marketing
What are your plans after graduation? Pursue my master's degree and land a career in marketing or advertising.
What is your most memorable/best experience at AU? Getting all you can eat sushi with Beth, Emma and Rizzo. Impressive to say the least.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Beating CUW my junior year.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? Swimming and roller blading.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Biscuits and gravy 4L.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? My coach,Â
Shannon DeNinno, has by far made the greatest impact on me.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I love 5v5s and I would give my left arm to never play 21 again.
Do you have any pregame rituals? Blast the music in the locker room, double wrap my laces, and dry scoop of pre workout.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Buy a Chegg membership and treasure the time you have here.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Not a song, but the entire ABBA discography will have me on the dance floor regardless.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I went to the same high school as Billy Ray Cyrus.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Beth, Emma, and Joe Burrow.
