Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.
Senior Spotlight: Becca Hasemann (women's golf)
Major:Â Nursing
What are your plans after graduation? Work as a Nurse and continue to play golf as much as I can.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? My clinical rotation at Delnor Hospital.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Winning conference by 144 strokes in the 2018 season and the NCAA Nationals in Texas. And winning conference in the 2019 season.
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? Nothing really (unless couch surfing counts? haha).
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Netflix
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Julie Ellis, nursing professor. Always helping me and had great conversations with.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? Being with my teammates and having fun with them.
Do you have any pregame rituals? Listening to music.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Enjoy your years here, they will go by so fast.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? "Something just like this" Chainsmokers. Good song, never gets old.
