Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.
Senior Spotlight: Ozzie Zarinana (Men's Soccer)

What are your plans after graduation? Get my master's degree.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Interacting with classmates and professors.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Winning the NACC Conference championship.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? Basketball.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? I like to go out and play soccer with my friends, play videos games, and being with my family.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Mac n Cheese, Nachos, fries, and Chicken Nuggets.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? CoachÂ
Ryan Lakin because he made me become a better leader on and off the field.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? Having fun and doing shooting drills. The least is running.
Do you have any pregame rituals? Listen to my music, focus on the game, and pray.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Get your head up and keep moving forward.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Reggeatonera by Anuel AA.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I love tacos.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Cristiano Ronaldo, Cuauhtémoc Blanco, and Sergio Ramos.
