Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Jaylen Green (Football)
Major: Sport Management
What are your plans after graduation? Secure a coaching job and pursue a career in facilities management.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Class with Dr. Wells was always fun and interesting.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Beating BU on the road my sophomore year (2018).
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? Baseball.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Spending time with family.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Alfredo.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Coach Don Beebe because his confidence rubbed off on me on and off the field.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I enjoyed being around my guys the most and i really disliked 1 on 1s.
Do you have any pregame rituals? I have to listen to Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Class work should come before anything.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Gangstas Cry by G Herbo because it reminds me of everything I've been through and why I strive to be a better person daily.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I'm really quiet but I'm probably the goofiest and loving person you'll ever meet.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? My brother, mother and grandmother because family is so important to me.....
