Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Jackson Clark (Men's Golf)
Major: Business Administration
What are your plans after graduation? I plan to land a sales position job then eventually get into real estate.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Continue to stay committed to my studies through all the changes with the pandemic and earn a 3.75 GPA/Deans list.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? The most memorable moment in athletics would be our team winning conference by 26 shots at the 2019-2020 conference tournament at Whistling Straights.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? I also compete in winter basketball men's leagues at various gyms.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? I would say my favorite outside sport would be getting a good group of friends together and playing sand volleyball.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Accounting has always been a struggle subject for myself, but Dave Perkins helped me out tremendously. He made things easier for me to understand and was extremely patient. Can't thank him enough.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I love the competitiveness that our Aurora University golf team brings day in and day out. Every practice is like a tournament where you have to bring your best game or you are getting walked by the field.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? As an upperclassman, the best advice I could give to the young would be prioritize your time to the best your ability. They're will be times where you can enjoy the college lifestyle along with the freedom that comes with it, but they're also times where you have to buckle down and get your school work done. You do that, and you will be just fine.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? "Coming Home" Diddy
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I love time managing and having a tentative plan for just about everything I do.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why?
Tiger Woods: To pick his brain and learn what it takes to win at the level that he has done over his career.
Michael Jordan: I wish I was old enough to witness Jordan in his prime, but it would be an honor to be able to see and talk with him for an hour.
Mark Zuckerberg: Athletics have been a part of me my whole life, but athletics is not going to make the money I will need in the future. Mark is the ultimate business man. So it would be amazing to get a few pointers or keys to success that he has learned along the way.
