Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Alejandro Torres (Men's Soccer)
Major:Â Marketing and Business Administration
What are your plans after graduation? Pursue a master's degree in marketing.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Getting on the dean's list twice.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Earning our first NACC title (2019).
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? Weightlifting.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Lifting weights and going out with friends.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Head CoachÂ
Ryan Lakin, he has been a good coach and role model to me over the last 3-4 years. He always has our success and interests in mind.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I enjoy the small/large-sided practice games the most. I dislike endurance running the most in practice (although it is necessary).
Do you have any pregame rituals? Not really, but make sure I'm well-rested, hydrated, and focused to play.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Listen to coach and come prepared.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Faucet failure- Ski Mask the Slump God because it gets me pumped.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? Nothing in particular.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Tom Segura because he is my current favorite comedian, Chris Hemsworth because I love Thor, and Dwayne Johnson because I think he's a good actor and I'd like to lift with him.
