What are your plans after graduation? After graduating I plan to begin my career as a nurse.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Most memorable experience for me is my first year at AU as a transfer, my junior year. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, it felt like home.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? My first game at AU, it was great experience we all had so much energy and were ready to get the win.
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? I don't play any other sports right now, but I love to play soccer. Soccer would've been my second choice for a sport.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? I like the outdoors and doing outdoor activities. I also love to binge watch great tv shows and movies.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? My favorite meal in the cafe would have to be the chicken nuggets and ice cream bar.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? My Anatomy teacher, Dr.Chen had the greatest impact on me because he was always ready to help and teach me so I can understand the content. He would always offer extended office hours so I can do great in the class.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I actually enjoy practices. They help us get better and we also have fun while doing it. We may have a bad start to a practice but we always try and turn around because how we prepare is how we play.
Do you have any pregame rituals? I would say I need at least one shoot around before a game. It helps me get focused and game ready.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? My advice for underclassmen would be to work hard always because it will pay off in the end.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Grinding all my life by Nipsey Hussle. This song relates to me and how I know I will struggle in my life, but it's about the grind with the struggle to become successful.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I like to help people. I feel that's why I chose nursing because I want to help people.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Kobe Bryant because he was a great overall person and athlete and he would also teach people. Whether it would be life lessons or basketball he was always teaching. Second person would be Nipsey Hussle because he was again a great person who loved to teach people and also give back to the people whenever he could. Third would be Michelle Obama because she is an amazing leader for women and I would just love to sit and talk to her about anything and everything.
