Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

What are your plans after graduation? Contribute my knowledge with the game of basketball to the basketball world.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Winning back to back conference championships.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Overall just being a good teammate and watching my teammates develop great growth mindsets over the years.
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? I can play a bit of soccer and I'm really fast so track.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? I love doing outside activities, exploring the city, getting out and enjoying new experiences of life.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Salad.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Mrs. Katherine Reifurth had a huge impact on me because she was the professor that went out her way to make sure i was successful in each of her classes and has done things for that she didn't have to do. We developed a good relationship over the past year and she's a terrific professor.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I enjoyed getting to compete with my teammates each and every day so that we were prepared for battle on game days.
Do you have any pregame rituals? Yes, I do several different things to take care of my body so that my body is prepared and warmed up for battle.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Leave no regrets. Do it now. Don't hesitate.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Danza Kuduro! It's a Spanish song that gets my hype every time!
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I'm here for you. I believe in the quality of life in every human being and every good hearted human should deserve to taste success.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Any three of my teammates. There's bonds on this team that will never be broken and will be cherished for a lifetime.
