Aurora University senior kicker Ryan Subick (Mt. Olive, Ill./Mt. Olive H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Conference Football Special Teams Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 24, 2010, his second time being named the NAC player of the week this season. 

Subick was instrumental in the field position battle for the Spartans, pinning Concordia Wisconsin four times inside the 20-yard line, one of which was inside the 10 and another that went out at the 3-yard line. The punt that he pinned at the 3-yard line led to a turnover and eventual AU score.

On the season, in which AU is 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the NAC, Subick is 4-for-10 in field goals and 18-for-19 in extra points.

Subick and the Spartan football team are in action next on Saturday, October 30, 2010, when they travel to Rockford College in a Northern Athletics Conference match-up. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. in Rockford, Ill.
