Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Stacy Bellack (Softball)
Major:Â Masters of Business Administration
What are your plans after graduation? I plan to pursue an HR career in recruiting at my current internship site.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? The first time I made the Dean's List.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? My first game as a starter during my freshman year.
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? I'm good at playing golf.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? My favorite activity is kayaking or taking my dog on walks.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Chicken nuggets and mac and cheese.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Professor Babb had the greatest impact on me academically in undergrad and in grad school. She always pushes us to think more critically and to grow in every way we can as a professional.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? I enjoy being able to hit as often as we do because it has made me better, but sometimes it's still hard to wake up as early as we do for practice.
Do you have any pregame rituals? I always eat a granola bar, listen to music, and head to the athletic training room to get treatment and tape. It gets my head in the right place mentally and keeps my body healthy.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? I would tell underclassmen to not take these four years for granted. After COVID-19 hit, it taught me to really take everything in and enjoy what all we have.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Outlaw by Morgan Wallen. I love country music because its the kind of music you want to blast in the car with your windows down all the time.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I love to help people. I enjoy being given a problem and being able to solve it in order to make someone else's life a lot easier. It's very rewarding to me.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? I'd spend an hour with Emily, who was my roommate in undergrad, because our time as roommates got cut short last year and that's something I really miss. I'd also say Aaron Rodgers because I'm a huge Green Bay Packers fan and I'd love to meet him someday. Lastly, I'd spend an hour with Rachel Folden because she's an amazing hitting coach who really helped me improve my hitting and work on my confidence level.
