Aurora University Athletics

Aurora University junior goalkeeper Jalen Depenbrock has been recognized by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference as the NACC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Depenbrock earned the honor after he helped AU to a 2-0 opening week, shutting out Illinois Wesleyan University, 2-0, and posting a 2-1 win over Millikin University. He allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of work. 

Depenbrock and the Spartans (2-0 overall) are in action next on Friday, September 10 when they travel to Calvin University. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m. (cst) / 6:00 p.m. (est) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
