Aurora University women's golfer Kallie Sakamoto was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Athlete of the Week, her second time earning the honor this season.

Sakamoto earned the NACC honor after she averaged 76.3 strokes over three rounds last week, highlighted by an even-par 72 in the NACC Championship Preview event at Aldeen Golf Club on Sunday. The 72 was good for medalist honors and helped AU win the meet by 44 strokes. She also tied for fourth at the Judson Fall Invitational where the Spartans took second to NAIA Bethel (Ind.).
