A record setting night from senior running back Tyran Bailey helped vault the Aurora University Spartan football team to a 49-7 dominating effort over the visiting Eureka College Red Devils. It was the record setting performance that makes Bailey this week's AU Athlete of the Week. 

With 5:27 left in the third quarter, Bailey made his 17th carry of the game. The 19 yard scamper found him in the end zone for the second time on the night and also gave him 3,703 yards for his career. That carry and yardage helped him become the all-time leading rusher in AU football history, surpassing Ron Griffin who had 3,691 from 1987-1990.
