Aurora University freshman outside hitter Lulu Torres has been recognized by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference as the Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Torres recorded double-digit kills in each of Aurora's three victories last week. The Spartans swept Benedictine and MSOE and topped Wisconsin Lutheran by a 3-1 score. She averaged 4.5 kills per set with a high of 17 in the victory over MSOE. Additionally, Torres had 15 kills and six service aces against Wisconsin Lutheran and 13 kills and another two service aces against Benedictine.

On the season, Torres is averaging a 2.88 kills per set while hitting .210 to go along with 25 service aces.
